Holiday Parties

OMG, got invited to a holiday party tomorrow night, where everyone that is anyone might be there. What to wear? The worst part about being invited to these events is finding something that looks expensive to wear. Well, let's see. My black leather pants are too small. K, I got it. Babyphat jeans given to me by a friend topped with a cashmere sweater also passed down to me from another friend. Oh yeah and I have those nice boots my sister gave me. I'm set. Thank God for my well-off friends. Hope they aren't there to recognize their clothing. Oh well! It will be a blast. Let's see there will be cab fare or valet parking for my junker. No, that would be too embarrassing. I'll just walk. Thankfully I have Christmas Day off. Wishing you all the Merriest of Holidays.

Free Food, Wine and Culture

One of my favorite things to do in the city is to get dolled up and walk through Soho looking for Art Gallery openings. There you can find a smorgasbord of fine cheeses, pate and even sometimes caviar offset with a nice glass of wine from the South of France or some other nouveau riche vineyard I personally never heard of, but pretended I did. Setting my eyes on the art, I follow the crowd with graciousness. Making small critiques about something I know nothing about, but read up on to amuse myself. Using words like, Medium, Form, Genre, Formal Qualities, etc, to start a conversation where my answers will consist of constant nods of my head and the use of their own words in agreements. With a tummy full and a nice little high going I head home. Happy that I achieved the goal of the evening. Free Food, Wine and Culture.

OOPs!

A very long time ago, again when I was tiny, young and bleached blonde, I decided to take an acting class for fun. Nerog, was my scene partner and we had such great chemistry. Something happened that I don't remember, but Nerog had to leave the class. Our Instructor volunteered a new partner for me. I was very fickle at the time, and really didn't want to work with anyone else but Nerog. Besides the guy had big ears and was funny looking. Well, we were encouraged to speak out, so I must have said something I shouldn't have about the guy. Like, "I just can't be attracted to him" or "He's not attractive enough" or something degrading like that. Who the hell was I anyway? Anyway, this guy became a famous actor, director. I ran into him at a fundraiser in L.A., and he snubbed me. I wondered why? LOL

Me? Blondie?

One evening back in the eighties when I was tiny, young and bleached blonde, I was walking down South Street Seaport with my friend, Nerog. I had a black leather jacket on and Nerog looked like a young rockstar dressed in black. Well, we came across the big burly men working the seaport with huge fish hooks hanging off their shoulders. For some reason they thought I was Deborah Harry from Blondie. One of them came after me with a pen and paper for an autograph. So I looked at Nerog and we both decided to play along. Before we knew it, we had a crowd of these huge men surrounding us. All went well until one of them said, "That's not her". Nerog freaked out and started running away. Leaving me with all this brawn to deal with. I dropped the pen and paper that was in my shivering hand and hauled ass out of there. We must have run forever, afraid that one of them would chase us. We finally got to the end of Manhattan and hid in a tall building, laughing and crying at the same time. Whew! we got away.

Hello I'm Pinky Traz

I'm Pinky Traz and I would like to let you know a bit about myself. I have been blogging for years and through my blogging, I have met many celebrities. Although blogging is not financially rewarding I have had to take many odd jobs, such as Bellydancing in parks, promotional modeling, retail and bartending. Currently I am working at a clothing store for pennies a day. I have famous friends; musicians and actors. Even though they are rich as shit, I live day by day, paycheck to paycheck. Look here for stories on the famous people I have encountered through my blogging fame.
